Chicken is one of the main meats in our daily diet. Its meat is tender, delicious, and suitable for various cooking methods. This chicken recipe is baked in an air fryer, which cooks faster and comes out crispy and tasty. Wash and dry the four chicken legs, and make a few slits on both sides for easy flavouring. Prepare green onion segments, lemon slices, ginger slices and garlic slices.

Put the chicken legs into a container, and add light soy sauce, cooking wine, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, cajun seasoning, honey, and crushed black pepper. Add the green onions, ginger slices, lemon juice and garlic slices. Use your hands to rub evenly, giving the chicken legs a full-body “massage” to ensure all the ingredients get into the chicken. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for over four hours, turning over twice in the middle to make the chicken legs absorb the flavour better.

Once the chicken has marinated, take the chicken legs and put them into the air fryer basket. You can also use the oven if you don’t have an air fryer, but the chicken tastes better when you do. Start the air frying function and bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes until the surface of the chicken legs turns brown. Melt the butter over water and add two tablespoons of honey.

Stir evenly, and brush it onto the chicken legs, covering both the front and back sides.  This is the key to the crispy skin of the chicken legs. Continue baking for about five minutes, remove from the air fryer, and serve alongside Avocado salad, mashed potatoes, or Golden crust potatoes. Enjoy…
