Chocolate Bear Buns

You can make these chocolate fluffy bear buns for your loved one any day to impress them or your relatives for their birthday. In a large bowl add in the yeast and add some of the flour into the bowl to feed the yeast and then add in roughly half of the milk to dissolve the yeast. Taking a whisk, whisk it together until you can no longer see the yeast or the lumps. Then just dump all the flour into the liquid. Add the cocoa butter, the beaten egg, oil, and fold this together or stir this together with a spatula and then add in the rest of your milk.

Dust your table with some flour we are going to start kneading this on the table now. Start kneading for about 6 to 7 minutes and do not use too much flour. Too much flour is bad for bread dough. If kneading by hand is too much effort you can use the mixer or whatever method you use just make sure it is smooth and elastic in the end.

Place it in a clean bowl and cover it with a plastic wrap and let it rise until it is doubled in size for an hour to three hours. After it has risen remove the plastic cover and push out the gas inside the dough. So gently push down the dough releasing the gas and remove from the bowl and gently knead this for about 15 seconds. Divide the dough by 9 equal pieces. You can use a scale so that you know everything will look perfect and super professional.

Take one of the balls, take out 2 small pieces for the ears and roll everything to a smooth ball. It is up to you if you want to keep the ears flat or not. But flatten your two balls. In a 9×9 baking dish lined with a parchment paper and sprayed down with oil place in our Buns and attach on the ears and continue doing this for the rest of the buns. There are two options, if you don’t have the white and dark chocolate, you can use icing sugar with white dye to make the bear face.

Cover the pans with saran wrap and let it rise. Take these in an oven in the middle rack at 350F for 20 minutes. And let these cool completely before you decorate them or else the icing sugar will melt right off.

For the icing mix together some powdered sugar and a few drops of water and use parchment paper to make a cone out of it to pipe the icing out. And with the black die add it to your icing to make the eyes and nose black. And you can serve and enjoy it.
