This cake is so fluffy with the most incredible fudgy frosting and it takes a few minutes to make. Like most of teh cakes recipes, start with creaming the fats with the sugar. You will also add some vanilla extract and lemon zest, mix the ingredients until well combined then add the egg yolks and bet in the mixture. Once all mixed in, sift in the dry ingredients then add the milk. Make sure you do not overmix the batter, just mix it until it looks almost like luscious vanilla pudding.

Line the bottom of the baking pan with flour then divide the batter into two cake pans and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 28 minutes. You can always do the toothpick test if it comes out clean your cakes are ready. Let them cool for 5 minutes in their pan then let them cool completely. For the chocolate frosting, mix cocoa powder, sugar and salt then add teh butter. The butter needs to be softened and add them in small chunks, to that, add hot boiling water. The water has to come to a boil then immediately start mixing the mixture.

The hot boiling water will dissolve the cocoa powder and sugar then melt the butter. Add in melted chocolate to give it more structure and a deeper chocolate flavour. Set the chocolate mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes until it firms up to form a luscious decadent creamy frosting. To assemble the cake, soak both the sponge cake with vanilla milk then add the frosting.
