Mozzarella Onion Rings

These rings are super easy to make and also very delicious. Cheese brings out the deliciousness in every meal. You will need about 100 grams of mozzarella cheese, slice the cheese and set it aside. For the onions, you will need two white onions, peel the onions and chop off the blackened head and butt then slice the onions into 1.5 to 2 cm in thickness.

Separate the onion rings out and choose the onions with the width difference of 0.3 to 0.5 cm then put the sliced cheese between the gaps of the two onions. Don’t make the gaps too big or the cheese will slip out when you dip it in bread crumbs. Next, you will need three bowls, in the first bowl, add 50g of flour, in the second bowl, add 100 grams of bread crumbs and the third bowl, you will need a slightly bigger bowl and add in two eggs.

Whisk the eggs then take the prepared onion rings and roll them in flour and then the eggs, shake off the excess dripping eggs the place it in the breadcrumbs and make sure the breadcrumbs stick well in the onion rings. Coat them with another layer of eggs and then back to the breadcrumbs so the cheese won’t leak while frying.

Do this repeatedly until the breadcrumbs layer is thick enough. Fill a frying pan with oil and let it heat then drop the onion rings in the oil and let it fry for 3 minutes until golden brown or until golden brown. Serve with sauce on the side. These onions are seriously good.

Ingredients;

  • 100 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Onion
  • 50g Flour
  • 100g Bread crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • Cooking oil

Fry in medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
