This easy delicious 2 ingredients no yeast fried doughnuts are the fluffiest and melt in your mouth donuts you will ever make at home. They are mini and take 2 minutes to make and you won’t be able to stop at just one. This doughnut recipe cannot be more simple and amazing, it is very similar to my two ingredients pizza dough but with a different ratio, because it is doughnuts not pizza and different steps as you will see. Start by combining self- rising flour and yogurt in a bowl using a spatula. As you mix the dough you will notice it is quite sticky and soft do not add any flour to it because we are not going to be kneading this dough.

Make sure you combine these ingredients well until you get it uniformed and you are ready to fry. That is how this recipe is there is no waiting, no resting we are ready to go. You are going to transfer this dough to a piping bag with a rounded tip or use a zip lock bag or a spoon to dollop this mixture into the hot oil if you do not have a piping bag. You are going to preheat your oil to around 160 -170 C or 320-330F.

Use a spatula to move them around so that they cook evenly if you don’t have a spatula make sure they are bubbling and sizzling around the edges at all times this is crucial every time you are frying. You are going to cook this doughnut until golden and you are going to place this onto a paper towel. There are three different ways to serve these mini doughnuts. The dough itself does not contain the garnishing sugar because it does not need it the sugar is going to come from the toppings.

The first the doughnuts we are going to make are just plain delicious sugar doughnuts tossed in plain sugar. This is really simple but amazing. The second doughnuts we are going to make are glazed donuts my all-time favorite doughnuts, it is just melted butter, powdered sugar, and warm milk in a bowl and gives it a good mix and toss in your doughnuts cover the doughnuts entirely in this amazing glaze and you want to use a slotted spoon to shake off the excess glaze.

Place them onto a rack with the plate underneath again to allow the excess glaze to drip off. This glaze will set just like the one on crispy Kreme doughnuts. the last doughnuts we are going to make are chocolate glazed donuts. This is really simple because instead of making another glaze from scratch, we are just going to use the left glaze and add in cocoa powder or melted chocolate the amount of cocoa powder you put it depends on you and on how chocolaty you want them to be.

Again cover this in the chocolate glaze and allow the excess glaze to drip off. This will be the best donuts you ever had and won’t be able to tell the difference between regularly raised donuts and these donuts. they are super soft and have a beautiful balance to them just like the raised donuts. Serve them and enjoy them.
