This is a delicious light and sweet eggless doughnut that you are going to love every bite. In a bowl with warm milk, add sugar and stir well then add 2 tbsp yeast and mix it then set it aside for 15 minutes for the yeast to activate. In a large bowl, add two cups of flour and to that add salt, give it a good mix then add the activated yeast mixture and start to bring the dough together.

You will also add water little by little, about half a cup of water until you get a smooth dough. If you are kneading by hand, it will take 10 to 15 minutes until the dough has come together and it’s not sticky then you will add one and a half tablespoons of softened butter and mix the butter with the dough until the butter is completely mixed with it.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl then cover it and let the dough proof for one hour or until it’s doubled in size. Once the dough has been proofed, roll it on a lightly floured surface to about half an inch thick then using a doughnut cutter, cut the doughnuts out and line them on a parchment-lined sheet.

Cover the cut doughnuts and let them proof again for minutes then fry the doughnuts on a medium flame until they are golden brown on both sides. Once the doughnuts are fried, you can serve them as they are by dusting them in powdered sugar then serve or you can dip them in chocolate ganache. These doughnuts will be light fluffy and equally delicious.
