Deep Fried Donuts
This is a simpler recipe for making soft and delicious doughnuts without an oven. Start by cracking eggs into a bowl, then add yeast and sugar (the amount of sugar depends on your taste) and stir it completely using a whisk. Stir until the yeast is melted and then add in plain flour stir while adding the flour. Stir until the dough starts to form then add in oil and mix well.
Using your clean hands knead well into a soft dough. Knead the dough for almost 2 to 3 minutes until the dough is smooth, uniform and very soft. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let the dough rise to double in size. Once the dough has doubled in size, place it onto a work surface, and knead it several times to get the air out completely.
Knead the dough evenly and squeeze out the air completely. Knead it in the strip direction then cut it into equal parts take one piece at a time and make it squeeze from the outside to the inside the bread dough is very soft do it in the round tighten the bottom and place it aside.
Brush a layer of oil on the board or work surface flatten each piece directly and put the piece where the oil is to avoid sticking do so for the remaining pieces. Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan and once the doughnut dough has risen, start frying them.
Place them carefully in the oil and fry them until both sides are golden then remove them from the oil drain the excess oil and place them on a baking tray or sheet. Once fried it should be crispy on the outside and very soft inside despite being fried. You can serve them as they are or coat them with sugar for extra sweetness and enjoyment.
Ingredients;
- 280g (2 1/4 cups) plain flour
- 3 eggs
- 3g yeast
- 30g sugar (increased or subtracted according to your taste)
- 1g baking powder
- 20ml corn oil, a moderate amount of cooking oil
- Oil for frying
