The process of bread making starts with making the dough. This is one simple and quick way to prepare your homemade bread. You will start by activating the yeast, mixing warm water and yeast in a glass jar. Combine that well then place it in a warm place and let the yeast rest for about 5 minutes for the yeast to bloom.

Next, mix the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl, combine them nicely, and once done set it aside. Pour the yeast into a clean mixing bowl to that adding milk and honey then you will mix that well until everything is combined. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and using a spatula, mix it well until it starts forming stiff dough then add softened butter. Mix it in the dough until well combined then switch and start kneading with your hands.

Knead the dough for about 5 to 8 minutes until it forms a soft dough. If you have a stand mixer you can use it to make this process faster. Once the dough is ready and smooth, lightly oil your bowl and place the dough in the bowl, cover with a cloth or paper and place it in a warm place. Let the dough proof for one hour or until it is doubled in size. To bake the bread, coat the baking dish with butter and once the dough is ready, degas it then transfer it to a light surface.

Lightly flour your work surface then roll the dough into a nice rectangle shape. Using your hands, slowly roll the dough into a log shape to the last inch. Slowly put it in the prepared baking tin the place it in a warm place to proof again for 45 minutes until it doubles in size. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celcius for 30 to 35 minutes until nice and golden brown. Once4 out of the oven let the bread cool down before slicing it. To store this bread, place it in an airtight container or plastic bag for up to 5 days.
