This is an easy and delicious one-pan egg toast that is not complicated to make for your morning, it’s plain and simple. The first thing you will do is get a pie plate or a bowl and crack in two eggs in then break than with a fork. To the eggs, add milk and you could also use cream or half and a half with a pinch of salt then whisk those ingredients together and make sure all the eggs are completely smooth and the milk will help break up those eggs.

If you want more flavor you can add other optional ingredients like cinnamon or pepper just to give your eggs more flavor. For the bread, you want to toast bread that is thicker than the regular sandwich bread, its kind of dry and crummy bread, and the slices are about three-quarters of an inch thick and that is what you want, a thick bread for this recipe.

Also, you will cut each slice into half, or depending on how you like them leave them the way they are. Get a frying pan over medium-high heat and add about a teaspoon of vegetable oil with a little pat of butter and make sure the butter of if you are just using oil is very hot before you add the egg mixture to the pan otherwise our toast will stick and get soggy from the oil.

Pour the egg mixture into the pan and quickly coat the two halves of a slice with the remaining egg mixture then place the bread over the egg in the pan before it starts to cook and leave a little space between them. Let it cook for a few minutes until it gets golden brown on the bottom then flip the toast on the other side to cook as well for about a minute.

After the other side has browned, fold the two halves, and remove from the pan then serve right away. You can serve this with bacon on the side or with fresh fruits and enjoy.
