This is my go-to chocolate cake recipe for a super fluffy and full of chocolate, chocolate cake. It is very easy and simple to bake. You will start with the dry ingredients; in a mixing bowl sift three cups of flour and a cup and half cocoa powder, half a teaspoon of salt a teaspoon of baking powder, and a teaspoon of baking soda.
Add three cups of sugar and mix the dry ingredients together. Into the dry ingredients, add four large eggs and a cup and a half of warm milk, and a cup of water. With a wire whisk, mix the ingredients together until they are moistened then add half a cup of oil and continue whisking until the batter is thick and smooth.
Pour the batter into a prepared baking tin and bake in a preheated 180C oven for 45 to 50 minutes, if your insert a skewer in the center of the cake it should come out clean. To prepare the ganache, add chocolate chunks to a bowl together with a cup of cream/ milk then microwave it for 2 minutes, removing it from the oven after 30 minutes and stirring it until smooth.
Once the cake is completely cooled down, pour the chocolate glaze on top of the cake level with a spatula. Let the cake sit just until the glaze has set on the cake and serve.
