This is coffee lovers dream, it is a milk drink topped with a thick glistening, glorious creamy rich foam heaped ontop. With a hand mixer or stand mixer – the first mix at the lowest speed until all the coffee and sugar are dissolved. Then turn the speed to the highest setting and mix for 1 min 30 seconds or until hard peaks form.
You can store leftover foam in the refrigerator. The instant coffee foam is quite stable and will keep for a couple of days at least. The drip coffee version will start to separate and you will see the coffee liquid accumulating on the bottom after a day or so but the flavor will still be good.
It is very simple to make with easy ingredients that are found in the moist kitchen. You need equal parts of hot water and instant coffee and it has to be black instant coffee. Add the coffee and the hot water to a small bowl and sugar. You can do this by the hand of even faster when using a hand whisk, you can also add a very tiny bit of cinnamon and vanilla extract for that extra delicious taste.
You will need the ingredients up until really thick and frothy like a gorgeous cloud of goodness. You can do this with hot milk or iced milk or any milk that you have. Pour the milk three-quarters way full of the glass then take the good and add it on top of the milk in the glass. If you want it sweet you can add more sugar when whipping the coffee.
