These chickens will be ready in less than 30 minutes and they come out with golden, crispy skin and they are juicy and tender insides. This chicken recipe will be a go-to on a busy weeknight. You will need a total of four bone-in skin-on chicken thighs/drumsticks. Pat them dry with a paper towel, on the top, sides and the bottom because the less moisture in the air fryer the better the chicken is going to crisp up.
Place the chicken thighs into a medium-sized bowl and then dripped on a tablespoon of olive oil on a top toss the chicken in the oil until it’s evenly coated in that oil and then set it aside. For the spice mixture, in a small bowl, add salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme and brown sugar.
Use a fork to mix everything together until it’s all evenly combined then sprinkle the seasoning over the chicken. Mix the chicken until it’s fully coated in that delicious seasoning. You can cook your chicken right away but if you want it to taste extra delicious, cover it with a plastic wrap and place it in the fridge overnight.
Before you cook your chicken, you want to preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit for about 3 minutes. Place the chicken inside and cook it for 10 minutes then open it up and flip over the chicken then cook for another 8 minutes. Once your chicken is all done, serve it with mashed potatoes and some veggies on the side and enjoy.
