A glass of milk and a bag of cookies is all you need to make this delicious chocolate cake. It’s moist and chocolatey and you will be amazed by how easy it is to make. You will need any cookies of your choice, pulse the cookies in a blender until really fine then place the ground cookies in a large mixing bowl along with the baking powder. You need a leavening agent to give rise to this cake otherwise it will be dense and flat.

Give the ingredients a mix then add warm milk and start mixing it in. Using warm milk hydrates this mixture properly, the batter may have small lumps and what you can do is take an immersion blender and blend the batter. If you had processed the cookies fine then the batter should be smooth.

If you are using fundamental cookies, to boost the flavour of this chcolate, you will add in some chocolate chips to bring out the chocolate flavour. Pour the cake batter into a greased and parchment-lined cake pan then bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes, do not overbake the cake.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 3 minutes, then invert it, then frost it with a delicious Nutella to give the cake an extra kick. This is a beautiful, soft and delicious cake that anyone can make.


  • 350-gram chocolate cookies ( 3 cups of crushed cookies)
  • 370 ml (1 1/2 cup) Milk
  • 2 1/4 tsp Baking Powder

Bake in a 340 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 15 minutes.
