Soft And Tasty Milk Buns

People love these buns; they have an aromatic and vanilla flavour, and they’re soft. You’ll enjoy them with butter or your favourite spread. Start by sifting the flour into a mixing bowl, then add the yeast and mix it in.

For this recipe, you are going to use 4 egg yolks without the whites. Beat the egg yolks, then add in sugar and mix it in. Melt the butter, then add it to the egg yolk mixture, along with the milk.

Mix it, then pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and start mixing with a spatula. This is a simple dough that doesn’t require kneading by hand; simply use a spatula to bring it to the desired consistency.

Once the dough has come together, cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for around one hour.

Lightly oil or butter the baking tray, then take the dough out and roll it to any shape, round or in an oval shape and then place them on the baking tray, spacing them to give room for the dough to rise when baking.

If you have a small bowl, you can bake this in batches or put them in two baking trays. Once lined, cover and let them rise again for one hour.

Make an egg wash by beating one egg yolk and two tablespoons of milk, then brush the top of the buns, then bake in a 365 degrees Fahrenheit preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Once baked, let the buns cool down before serving. They are soft and will be eaten with milk in no time.
